At WagsInn, we believe that all dogs deserve a loving, forever home. Our rescue provides care for many rescued dogs each year. Dogs are primarily rescued from the streets and from regional shelters that are inundated with homeless animals and are forced to euthanize due to lack of space.

adopting a Dog

These dogs live here and are cared for at WagsInn until we are able to find them a forever home. Our process begins with you  completing an application. Next, we will set up a time for you to meet our rescues at WagsInn. Afterwards, we will set up a visit at  your home to help introduce him to what could be his new home! Our adoption fee is $200.00. We spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinate all rescue dogs prior to adoption.

VoLUNteers

The Canine Charities can use your help walking our rescues or just keeping them company.

What Drives Us

Our Mission

WagsInn Canine Charities is a nonprofit rescue organization dedicated to helping unwanted dogs find their forever homes. We help dogs in distress without regard to age, breed, of ease of placement. Our mission is to provide dogs with the stability, training, and care that is necessary for them to become a part of a loving and forever family.

Wish List

We are ALWAYS in need of the following items to help care for our adoptable dogs:

  • Paper towels
  • Bleach
  • Bath towels
  • Blankets
  • Stainless steel food bowls
  • Nylon collars and leashes
  • Dog treats
  • Kong toys
  • Nylabone toys
  • Tennis balls

WagsInn spends an average of $3,400 each month for food, veterinary care, personalized training, bedding, caregiving, and other needs. Your contribution will help us provide this necessary care and will aid us in finding loving, forever homes for our adoptable dogs.

Dorothy Lane Market has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to numerous local non profit organizations over the past several years through their Good Neighbor Program. In 2019, DLM will donate $40,000 back to the community. The fun part is that you choose how the money is distributed using your DLM Club Card! All you do is simply choose an organization from our list to have your purchases credited. Every time you shop and scan your Club DLM card, your chosen nonprofit organization is “credited” with the purchase. At the end of the year participating charities will receive a pro-rated portion of the total $40,000, depending on the amount spent by participating customers with a Club DLM card. Sign up today and shop at Dorothy Lane Market to benefit the charity of your choice! Note: You MUST renew your DLM Good Neighbor registration yearly!

You may choose to either complete the form online on the Dorothy Lane Market Website or submit your choice at any Dorothy Lane Market location with this print off.
